Today small barges and longtails navigate atmospheric canal, passing beneath low bridges and along crumbling temple walls.

The full 13.5 km circuit takes 1.5-2 hours by barge. Khlong Mueang sections feel remarkably different from main river—quieter, more enclosed atmosphere, close-up views of lesser-visited ruins.
