Central Chiang Mai Airport (Central Plaza)

Central Chiang Mai Airport (Central Plaza)
The oldest shopping mall in Chiang Mai, and it shows—but that's not necessarily bad.
While Central Festival went modern, Central Airport kept the original late-90s mall vibe. Same big brands, just in a slightly dated setting.
The advantage? It's near the airport. Seriously, that's the hook. Last-minute souvenir shopping before flights. First-stop SIM cards and essentials after landing. It's functional shopping rather than destination shopping.

Monika's Tip
The basement food court is where airport taxi drivers eat. The khao soi stall at the back corner is shockingly good for ฿60—better than some 'authentic' places charging tourists ฿150.
