Traditional longtail boats are the main transport along the Kwai Noi River, especially to reach floating resorts deeper in the jungle.
The longtail boat journey itself is scenic—the sound of the distinctive engine, the feeling of moving with river current, passing alongside jungle banks creates immersive experience. Life jackets are provided standard.

Hire boats early morning (7-8 AM) when bird activity peaks and light is clearest on limestone cliffs. The downstream drift feels more relaxing than fighting current—time your route accordingly.
