Phra That Cave

Phra That Cave
Located approximately 10km from Erawan waterfalls, this cave requires 600-800m steep concrete path uphill from ranger station.
Duration approximately 1 hour round trip including interior exploration. The cave closes during heavy rain when paths become slippery and dangerous. Park guide available and sometimes required depending on conditions.
This adds variety beyond just waterfall hiking if you're spending full day at park. The cave system provides cool respite from tropical heat.

Monika's Tip
"Visit the cave mid-morning (10-11 AM) after completing waterfall tiers 1-3. The cave interior stays cool providing break from climbing stairs in heat. Use it as rest stop before tackling upper waterfall tiers with refreshed energy."
