HiMonika Tours — Bangkok, Thailand

By completing a booking with HiMonika you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms on behalf of yourself and all guests in your party.
All tours are operated under ELITESIAM TRAVEL (TAT License number: 11/12799). Monika is our main guide; however, we reserve the right to assign another TAT-licensed guide if Monika is unavailable or already booked, at our sole discretion.
1. Bookings
Bookings must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Same-day bookings cannot be accepted.
Your booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from HiMonika by email or WhatsApp, including your tour details, pickup time and guide contact number.
Please ensure all details — guest numbers, pickup address, dietary requirements and any special needs — are accurate at the time of booking. The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over and accepts these terms on behalf of all guests in the party.
We reserve the right to refuse service, reject bookings, or cancel existing reservations (with a refund minus processing fees) for any customer demonstrating a pattern of repeated cancellations and rebookings.
2. Pricing & Payment
All tours use per-person pricing: $160 for the first guest, $96 for each additional guest. The total scales with your group size, up to a maximum of 9 guests per booking.
Prices are displayed in Thai Baht (THB), USD, and EUR. The THB amount is the base price. USD and EUR figures are indicative and may vary with exchange rates.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your date and time.

3. Cancellation by Guest

*Refunds do not include payment processing fees.
Credit on request:If your cancellation within 12 hours is due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us. We will do our best to apply your payment as credit toward a future booking within 3 months of the original tour date. This is at HiMonika's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
4. Cancellation by HiMonika
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to:
- Guide illness or personal emergency
- Extreme weather or safety concerns
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
In the event of operator cancellation you will receive a full refund or a free reschedule at your preference. We will notify you as early as possible. HiMonika is not liable for any additional travel costs — flights, accommodation or onward arrangements — resulting from an operator cancellation.
5. Rescheduling

One free reschedule per booking. Additional reschedules are subject to a THB 1,500 rescheduling fee. Rescheduled tours must be taken within 3 months of the original tour date and are subject to guide availability. The same pickup time cannot always be guaranteed on the new date.
6. Late Arrival
Please be ready in your hotel lobby at your confirmed pickup time.
If a guest is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the tour may be shortened or, for time-critical fixed-start tours, forfeited. The full tour price remains payable in either case.
Fixed-start tours (Sunrise Almsgiving, Damnoen Saduak, Tha Kha, Khao Yai and similar) have operational constraints that cannot be adjusted on the day. Late arrival for these tours may result in cancellation without refund.
7. Children & Group Size
- Age 0–4: Free. Does not count toward group size.
- Age 5 and over: Requires a full seat. Counts as a full guest.
- Maximum group size: 9 guests. Groups larger than 9 cannot be accommodated on a single booking — please contact us in advance.
All tours are private — your group only, with no other guests joining.
Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of children throughout the tour.
8. Itinerary & Site Access
Tour itineraries are planned in advance but are subject to change due to:
- Site closures for royal, religious or national events (including the Grand Palace)
- National park entry limits or visitor caps (including Khao Yai)
- Traffic, weather or circumstances outside our control
- Guide decisions made in the interest of guest experience and safety
We will always make reasonable efforts to complete the advertised itinerary. Where a listed site is unavailable, the tour will be adapted accordingly. No refund is issued for individual site substitutions where the tour continues as a whole.
9. Accessibility & Mobility
Many tours involve walking on uneven terrain, steps, boat travel, cycling or open-air environments. These may not be suitable for all guests.
Wheelchair access and full accessibility cannot be guaranteed on any HiMonika tour. If you or a member of your party has a mobility requirement, disability or physical condition that may affect participation, please contact us before booking. We will advise honestly on suitability.
HiMonika cannot be held responsible for difficulties arising from undisclosed mobility or health conditions.
10. Health & Fitness
By completing a booking you confirm that all guests are in good general health and physically capable of participating in the activities in their chosen tour.
If any guest has a medical condition, recent surgery, heart condition, pregnancy or other health concern that may affect participation, please consult a medical professional before booking and inform us in advance.
HiMonika is not responsible for any medical incidents arising during or as a result of participation in our tours.
11. Dietary Requirements
Thai lunch is included in all full-day tours. We accommodate most dietary needs including vegetarian — please inform us at the time of booking.
Vegan options cannot always be guaranteed. Many Thai dishes contain fish sauce, shrimp paste or other animal products. Please contact us before booking to discuss your specific needs.
HiMonika cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free dining environment. Guests with severe food allergies should exercise caution and disclose their allergy at the time of booking.
12. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the tour. HiMonika accepts no responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged during the tour — in vehicles, at attractions, or on watercraft.
We recommend leaving high-value items not needed for the day at your hotel.
13. Photography & Media
HiMonika may photograph or film tours for use on our website and social media channels. If you would prefer not to be included, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
Guests are welcome to photograph and film throughout, subject to the rules of individual attractions. Your guide will advise where photography is restricted (including inside the Emerald Buddha temple and similar sites).
14. Guest Conduct
We reserve the right to end a tour early if any guest's behaviour causes harm, distress or disruption to others, to local communities or to the guide. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Please respect local customs, religious practices and communities. Your guide will brief you on appropriate conduct at specific sites.
15. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests hold adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and personal liability before their tour date. HiMonika does not provide travel insurance.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HiMonika's total liability for any claim arising from a tour is limited to the price paid for that tour.
HiMonika is not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses including missed flights, accommodation costs, onward travel or loss of enjoyment arising from tour changes, cancellations or delays outside our reasonable control.
17. Privacy
Personal information collected during booking is used solely to process and manage your tour and communicate with you regarding your booking. For full details please see our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
HiMonika may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation applies to your tour.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
