Ari Neighborhood

Ari Neighborhood
North Bangkok's hipster haven developed organically—no master plan, just cute cafes opening near good restaurants near street art near massage shops, creating this ecosystem that attracts creative types who can't afford Thonglor rent.
Ong Tong Khao Soi serves Northern Thai comfort food (khao soi) that justifies the BTS trip alone. Street food costs ฿40-60. Massages are ฿200 for an hour. And the neighborhood maintains local character despite growing popularity.

Monika's Tip
Ong Tong Khao Soi is in a narrow alley off the main road—Google Maps shows wrong location. Walk to Soi Ari 1, turn at the 7-Eleven, it's 50 meters down on the left. Khao soi is ฿90 and rivals anything in Chiang Mai."
