Bubble in the Forest Cafe

Bubble in the Forest Cafe
One hour outside Bangkok, someone built a mini Maldives complete with fake blue ocean, floating tables on the water, overwater bungalows with bean bags, and nets stretched over water where you can lie down and pretend you're tropical.
It's absurd. It's entirely artificial. And people absolutely love it. The "ocean" is a pool dyed blue, the island is landlocked, but the photos look like you traveled to the actual Maldives. Social media doesn't care about reality.

Monika's Tip
Go during weekday mornings. Weekends get absolutely mobbed with Thai Instagram influencers. Weekday 10 AM, you'll have entire 'islands' to yourself for photos."
