Nai Ek Roll Noodle

Nai Ek Roll Noodle
Michelin recognized this shop in 2018-2019 for rolled rice noodles so thick and chewy they're almost sculptural.
The rice sheets are rolled by hand, steamed fresh, then doused in sweet dark soy sauce that shouldn't work but absolutely does.
Located on Soi Yaowarat 9, it's been family-run long enough that the technique has refined into something approaching art. The texture is everything—soft outside, slightly chewy inside, substantial enough to fill you.

Monika's Tip
Get the large size with extra pork. It's only ฿20 more and doubles the portion. Also, add the pickled chili on the table—it cuts the sweetness perfectly."
