The Mini Bar

The Mini Bar
Finding this place is half the fun.
There's no sign outside the Samala Hotel on Sukhumvit 15—just an unmarked door that leads you down a hallway into a different Bangkok. Amber lighting pools over leather booths, smooth jazz drifts from invisible speakers, and the bartenders treat cocktail-making like minor surgery.
This is speakeasy culture done right: intentionally hard to find, deliberately intimate, absolutely worth the search. Wednesday through Sunday, it's where Sukhumvit locals disappear for drinks that don't come from a bucket.

Monika's Tip
The 'Thai Basil Smash' isn't on the menu—you have to ask for it. It's their best drink and locals know to order it immediately."
