Central Festival Chiang Mai

Central Festival Chiang Mai
The North's largest mall landed in 2013 and changed Chiang Mai shopping forever.
Before this, "mall shopping" meant small plazas. Central Festival brought Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, and Apple to Chiang Mai for the first time.
It's a multi-level air-conditioned complex that feels transplanted from Bangkok—which is exactly the point. Chiang Mai locals no longer need to travel to Bangkok for international brands. The mall sits on the Superhighway, 15 minutes from Old City, and on weekends it's where the entire city congregates.

Monika's Tip
The food court on the 4th floor has a Northern Thai section most tourists miss—khao soi, sai oua, nam prik all made by Chiang Mai grandmothers at Bangkok food court prices.
